Gem blocks can be collected as rewards from Exploration and the Underground Dungeon, and higher-grade Gem blocks can also be collected through merging.

Merge Regardless of type, you can attempt a merge using 3–5 Gem blocks of the same grade. By using the Batch Merge feature, you can merge all unenhanced Gem blocks in your possession at once.
If the merge succeeds: Collect a higher-grade Gem block
If the merge fails: Collect a Gem block of the same grade
